DUCK SOUP! - 2025; The Conspirators
DUCK SOUP is a comedic and politically explosive fever dream inspired by the 1933 Marx Brother's film by the same name. Freedonia is billions of dollars and debt, and wealthy heiress Ms. Teasdale will only continue to finance the country as long as she can install the next President. Freedonia needs a new leader! A fearless fighter! An absolute dictator! Freedonia needs Rufus T. Firefly! He's so corrupt and crazy he'll make your head spin. Is this starting to sound familiar....?

BURN - 2023; DePaul University
BURN by Deborah Gearing is a short but tragic one act recounting the story of fifteen year old foster care kid Joey Hawk's last day on earth. He haunts the set, the characters, and the audience as the other teenagers in town retell his story in vivid detail. The posthumous Joey "Birdman" Hawk never speaks to the audience, but his friends and contemporaries do as they attempt to dissect their memories, their grief, and their regrets. Burn was done in a Black Box theatre with a budget of $100.
